An introductory letter is a great way to formalize your fundraising program and let others know what the money will be raised for and how they can get involved.

The introductory letter also helps to inform those that might be interested in making a contribution and can be passed onto a person who is in a position of authority and can make decisions regarding the potential involvement or donation from a company.

It only takes a few minutes to write a letter, but there are so many fundraising programs out there, that personalizing your letter will certainly help to clarify the fundraising program from the start and demonstrate greater organization on your behalf.
